Worshiping the creation...

I call it worshipping the creation instead of the creator.

Non-believers seem to be consumed with the condition of the earth and its atmosphere. Consumed to the point that not a day goes by that global warming is not mentioned on the radio, on television or in the daily newspapers.

Of course, everyone should be conscientious of their surroundings, we should all be good stewards of what God has given us BUT what is going on now is far beyond that. These people are placing a higher priority on global warming than they are the sanctity of life, on the welfare of their fellow man, on the millions of starving people all over the world. If only a tiny fraction of the concern for global warming was applied toward those other issues - they would probably be solved already.

It's called distraction.

The enemy is the master of distraction. If he can get people to take their eyes off of God, if he can get them to care less about their fellow man - by all means, he will do whatever it takes. I mean would most folks of average intelligence have to think real hard to quickly figure out if the temperature of the earth has risen say two degrees in the past century, that no one should be considering that as a drastic rise? Doesn't it mean something when there are as many scientists and researchers stating that global warming is not really an issue as there those who do? The earth warms and cools in cycles - just like everything else in life.

Terrorism - it's a horrible thing. This thing comes straight from the pit of hell and is in direct opposition to God and therefore Christianity. So today, I find on the Internet a news story where Stephen Hawking, the famous scientist who's followers believe everything he reports, telling the world that global warming is a bigger threat than terrorism! You can click here to read the story - and that is exactly what it is, a story.
