The "world" finds something very wrong when parents try to teach their children about a God and a Saviour who if followed in most cases, leads to growing up into excellent citizens, givers not takers, a person not prone to violence and decadence, someone who respects the property of others, and an individual not likely to see the inside of a jail cell. "What a travesty!" the world says. "You aren't letting children think for themselves." the world cries out in horror.
And yet those very same people see no problem whatsoever with the obscene, vulgar, and satanic content that is in an awful lot of today's modern music, television, and movies; they allow their children easy access to that garbage. Many of their children idolize convicted criminals turned rap stars who promote violence, the oppression and misuse of women, drug use, crime, and so much more. These days, I can't go a day without observing young children though young adults dressing and acting like those thugs that they are so enamored with.
Why doesn't the "world" cry out about that? Where is the concern for the "brainwashing" that is taking place.
Non-Christians aren't the only guilty ones either. I cross paths with many a Christian parent who has absolutely no clue what kind of music their child listens to, what they watch on television, or where they surf to on the Internet.
Shame on all of us!
