The Bible says that we are to preach the "good news" to all men. It doesn't say that we are to debate or argue with those who do not believe. One of the Holy Spirit's "jobs" is to bring conviction to a lost person's heart. When that conviction finally sinks in deeply - because the person allows it to, then and only then is that person ready to hear about God and His offer of a reprieve from adeath sentence through Jesus Christ.
Why am I bringing this subject up you may be wondering? It is because there are people in this world who are not just satisfied with their right to unbelief - they are determined to persuade others in never believing the truth and also just as determined to convince weak Christians to stop believing.
I will never debate Christianity with an atheist - why? Because they are so set in their unbelief that an actual miracle could occur right in front of them and they would still deny the existence of God.
