If as a Christian you post a comment standing up for Christianity - here are the most typical methods in which atheists will respond:
1. Name calling
2. Obscenities
3. Personal attacks
4. If one word is misspelled in your post, they say that it is then totally invalid.
5. Being grammatically incorrect also voids your statement.
6. Insulting the names of God and Jesus almost always occur.
7. Personal threats
8. Words of hatred toward the person posting and towards God.
Now, these responses are SUPPOSED to be from people who call themselves tolerant, educated, and enlightened. They also claim that Christianity is not a threat to them - so, why do they respond the way that they do?
The joke is on them isn't it!

Guess what tack the folks behind the challenge are taking? They are coming out of the closet. Where have we heard that line before I wonder? Those poor picked on atheist - they have been so brutalized by us "born agains" that they find themselves in a position that requires they begin to lash out at Christianity.
No longer is it good enough to practice their unbelief in the privacy of their own minds, they must now begin to put a stop to Christianity completely! Christianity stands for hate in their minds, therefore when Christians speak out about God - we are guilty of hate speech.

Science of the Bible
When you run into someone and they start slamming the bible and telling you how meaningless its contents are - drop this little tidbit on them:
Ask them, if the bible is so full of nonsense, how come thousands of years before scientists made it "official" that the earth was round - the bible made it clear that it was?
Have them read Isaiah 40:22 - "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in."
Be warned though - people whose minds have been so thoroughly darkened will tell you that "circle" doesn't mean round. Yeah, just like red doesn't mean red, and black doesn't mean black right?

Slamming Christianity - the movie...

We are doing such a horrible job as parents that maybe some day the government just might have to remove our children from us. Sexual Saturation...
The "world" reeks of sex. Pre-martial sex and adultery have been elevated to something devilishly holy. Same goes for homosexuality. What's next? How far are we from legalized sex with animals and children? When will this saturation extend itself to the nearest street corner where naked people will be having sex in public and their "rights" will be protected by the law?
God created sex for a man and a woman who become one in marriage - it's that simple. I'll admit it - I messed up big time in that department. But, I totally regret it and I pray for strength to not mess up again. God has forgiven me, the enemy can no longer use it against me - the slate is clean. That's the great thing about salvation through Jesus Christ.
My biggest concern is the young people - from the time they are small they are bombarded with sexual messages and innuendos. The messages are in everything, even from the simplest of television commercials. I hate satan and everything that he stands for - I hate his intentions with our children.
The world preaches to Christians - "You can't be judgemental, you have to be patient and tolerant with others - you can't hate!"
My bible states that I am to judge between good and evil, and that I'm to hate evil! Don't let the world tell you what the bible says - study it for yourself and speak out!

4. They believe that in killing themselves while killing as many infidels as possible is a "holy" thing that brings great rewards in the afterlife.
5. They lie through their teeth - which must be part of their religion as long as the lying is for the purpose of bringing death and destruction to the non-believers of their religion.
6. They rape, torture, and publicly behead their enemies.
I'm just touching the tip of the iceberg here....
Now - show me Christians who live by these "laws". Prove to me and the world that Christianity is far more dangerous and menacing than that "other" religion - I dare you!

But, the open deliberate slander of Christianity will be allowed to continue. While pastors will not even be allowed to quote scripture that speaks out against the "tool" - because it will be considered "hate speech" - "Joe Atheist" will be able to stand on the street corner closest to a church and spew out his venom against God and Christianity.

Talking to walls...
The Bible says that we are to preach the "good news" to all men. It doesn't say that we are to debate or argue with those who do not believe. One of the Holy Spirit's "jobs" is to bring conviction to a lost person's heart. When that conviction finally sinks in deeply - because the person allows it to, then and only then is that person ready to hear about God and His offer of a reprieve from adeath sentence through Jesus Christ.
Why am I bringing this subject up you may be wondering? It is because there are people in this world who are not just satisfied with their right to unbelief - they are determined to persuade others in never believing the truth and also just as determined to convince weak Christians to stop believing.
I will never debate Christianity with an atheist - why? Because they are so set in their unbelief that an actual miracle could occur right in front of them and they would still deny the existence of God. Dirty deeds and low blows....
Click here to read (from a non-Christian source), how some public secular colleges around the country are beginning to not accept some Christian high school science classes as adequate for admission to their campuses. Do you want to know why those classes don't count? It's because they teach Intelligent Design along with the THEORY of evolution.
Can you only imagine the shock wave that would be felt around this country, if Christians finally took a stand against the public school system's attempted brainwashing of their children? Do you realize how much less funding those schools would receive if the children of Christians were removed from public schools and place into Christian schools or were home schooled?
You see folks, the world system wants us to hand over our children - the younger the better - thus the push in so many states right now to lower the age for Kindergarten and for extending that first year of school from 1/2 day to a full day.
The world wants to teach them that there is no God, that mankind evolved from apes and is actually just a little bit higher in form than animals, that prayer is evil, and that the Bible is just made up of a bunch of fairy tales. The world wants our children to believe that sex before marriage is "normal" - as is homosexuality - and that no one is capable of self-control when it comes to "natural" urges.
When the kids aren't in school, the world reaches out and touches them through cable television, prime time shows, unfiltered Internet, violent and sex filled video games, and music. Have you actually listened to some of the music that is available to children just from your local commercial broadcasters lately?
The FCC is supposed to help keep the airways "clean" - that has become a joke. No special antennas needed, no paid subscriptions - all a kid needs is a Walkman type radio with a pair of headphones and they can shovel crap into their heads all day and night - the world makes sure of that.
It's a REAL battle these days parents (and grandparents), it calls for full-time effort and diligence. Believe you me, the enemy and his drones are working overtime to harm, corrupt, and even destroy the next generation.

I don't understand it...
Everyday I read news articles about the high number of deaths of our servicemen in Iraq. The number is painted to be outrageously high. The thing that I notice the most is, that most of the people complaining are non-Christians and normally of the Liberal persuasion. That right there tells me that something is amiss. So I take a look at the number of casualties that have occurred in the FOUR years that we have been at war against terrorism in Iraq and the it is around 3,000 service people. Is that number really all that high? Past wars took hundreds of thousands of lives didn't they? I'm not saying that 3,000 deaths is a trifle thing in the least but I am questioning the motives of those crying out so vehemently.
Finally, most of those very same people who proclaim to regard life so sacredly, and are so concerned with the death of our service people - could care less that over 3,000 innocent babies are murdered in the United States - EVERY DAY.
Without God, things can just get real confused can't they? That is why we must walk in faith and maintain a close relationship with "Father" - if we don't, we could find ourselves sinking in the cesspool of this world.

Isn't it funny....
That possibly millions of folks in the world would believe that mankind was created by aliens who visited and "seeded" the earth and that someday our "creators" will return and rescue us - yet, those same people think that the idea of there being a God and Jesus Christ the Messiah is nothing but an outrageous fairy tale?
I've often wondered if the aliens will be used as an excuse for the massive disappearance of people from the earth when the Rapture occurs? Maybe someone claiming to be an alien life form will take the credit for removing all of the self-righteous, intolerant, narrow minded haters called Christians.
That would seem like a claim that a lot of people just might believe don't you think?

When it comes to sin...
You know, there are times when I am tempted to sin and the biggest motivation for me NOT to do it - is simply because I just like pissing off the devil and the world system. I sure don't ever want to become a hell puppet ever again - just too many hurts, feelings of guilt, and regrets later.
Family values - the new ones really stink!

Atheists simply ignore God and attempt to make man the God - it will never, ever work no matter how many "Richard Dawkins" the world has - God is God, there is absolutely no way to remove or kill Him (they tried that 2000 years ago and failed miserably). Lies about Jesus...
The world would like Christians to believe that Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God - the Saviour of mankind was not a real person nor the Messiah. If they can't get us to believe that garbage, they want us to believe that OK, maybe He did exist - as a man only. If we still won't be persuaded to believe that horse manure, we are told that Jesus was a meek and mild, gentle, flower-child like kinda' guy who didn't like confrontation and so that is the way Christians should be.
I'm not buying any of that.
Let's see - first of all, Jesus grew up working as a carpenter alongside his step-father Joseph. Hmm, I don't think I've ever seen a "fragile" looking carpenter or construction worker before - what about you? His hands must have been rough and calloused, and his muscles developed from all of that hard labor. What else can we recall from the Bible - hmm, he was able to fast for 40 days and still face Satan toe-to-toe afterwards, that sounds pretty tough to me.
Jesus never seemed to have a problem speaking out against the actions of the Pharisees and Sadducees - even right in front of them. Nor have I ever read in any modern translation of the Bible where Jesus required any assistance whatsoever in clearing out the temple area that was being used for commerce. It also seems to me that a man who was shy would not have dared hung out with prostitutes and other "bad" people - I mean he ate with them for crying out loud and didn't mind that the religious leaders knew about it.
What about the moments that led up to the Crucifixion - it seems to me that a meek and mild man, not wanting to face confrontation (or pain) would have exited the stage quite quickly and avoided the torture and the cross. Does that make sense to anyone else?
I believe Jesus was a "man's man" - strong, tough, a natural leader, outspoken and confident. But He was also filled with love and compassion for mankind.
That's the true role model for men today - but the world doesn't want men to believe that! Men have been emasculated terribly these past few decades. Just watch modern day commercials and you will find dozens of them that portray men as weak and DUMB.
I can guarantee you, that if you look at what the world says is "normal" and "good", you will find almost the exact opposite in the Bible.

About my other Blog...
In case you didn't know - I maintain another Blog in Cyberspace and it's entitled "Tracker Tom's Internet Safari". It is A LOT less controversial in nature - I say that humorously. I've been writing about the Internet for over five years; I've had hundreds of newspaper articles published on the subject. What I do is take the technical and complicated issues about surfing the Web and computers and make them easy to understand. I also write a lot of Web site reviews so that people can visit entertaining and useful places without fear of be offended or taken advantage of. Evangelicals are the root of all evil?
If you search the Web for just a few minutes (trying doing a Google search on the word evangelical), you will find countless articles about how Christians - especially the evangelical kind (defined in an earlier post of mine) are behind such notorious things as 9/11, high oil prices, the war in Iraq and the civilian violence as well, the mistreatment of the world by Israel (figure that one out), and the growing negative opinion against Muslims worldwide.
That's a lot of blame to heap on people who believe in myths and legends and whose religion is quickly dying and has no relevance to today's society don't you think?
You see how the world speaks with a forked tongue and out of both sides of its mouth at the same time? On one hand, Christians are dumber than a rock and powerless - but at the very same time we are responsible for all of the world's evilness and chaos.

I even came across an article recently that said that evangelicals were in the process of trying to create a new world order. Satan takes the truth, turns it upside down, warps it, and then puts it back into the hands (and minds) of those who have been mislead by him.
Keep sharp, stay alert, be wise like a serpent.
That's a lot of blame to heap on people who believe in myths and legends and whose religion is quickly dying and has no relevance to today's society don't you think?
You see how the world speaks with a forked tongue and out of both sides of its mouth at the same time? On one hand, Christians are dumber than a rock and powerless - but at the very same time we are responsible for all of the world's evilness and chaos.
I'm just touching the tip of the iceberg here folks, the fire hasn't even gotten hot yet. Someday soon every kind of evil thing will be tolerated and called "normal" while Christianity will be labeled criminal and dangerous.

Christians are being categorized...
I've read quite a few articles lately about how the world is trying to categorize Christians. When an enemy is drawing up war plans, they must first identify the various levels of threats and obstacles that they will be facing. First of all, a definition of a Christian is:
1) People who say they have made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ that is still important in their life today
2) And who also indicate they believe that when they die they will go to Heaven because they had confessed their sins and had accepted Jesus Christ as their savior.
I'd say most folks (Christians) would agree with that description.
Now, here is the definition of an "Evangelical" Christian:
1) People who say they have made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ that is still important in their life today.
2) And who also indicate they believe that when they die they will go to Heaven because they had confessed their sins and had accepted Jesus Christ as their savior.
3) Saying their faith is very important in their life today;
4) Believing they have a personal responsibility to share their religious beliefs about Christ with non-Christians
5) Believing that Satan exists
6) Believing that eternal salvation is possible only through grace, not works;
7) Believing that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth
8) Asserting that the Bible is accurate in all that it teaches
9) Describing God as the all-knowing, all-powerful, perfect deity who created the universe and still rules it today.
"Evangelical" Christians are considered to be the most "dangerous" type of Christian there is today. Are you willing to be included in this group or are you intimidated by the "dangerous" label?

How do we smell?
Did you realize that when we worship and serve Lord that we are like a sweet aroma to him? On the other hand, did you realize that to those who do not believe, to those who in fact hate Christianity - we are like a stench in their nostrils?
We are a constant reminder to them that God is still there, waiting for them with open arms, that He still loves them and wants the best for them. Unfortunately, the enemy has harnessed their anger and bitterness toward toward God into blinding them to the truth.
How else does the non-believer perceive Christians?
As a blinding light that highlights every dark recess of their soul.
As a the sound of a bleating mule that tortures their ears, our "good news" is bad news to a person consumed in hatred, anger and darkness.
As a wrecking ball capable of tearing down every false idol and lie that the enemy has helped them create in their life.
Do you see why we are perceived as dangerous? We, the Body of Christ are a direct threat to the world system - the same as it was 2000 years ago!

Christianity - "The most dangerous mass movement in American history."
We Christians are just so evil and dangerous. We are responsible for all of the hate, crime, violence, and wars. Now we are responsible for brainwashing a massive amount of humanity. We hold guns to their heads and threaten to kill their families if they don't "sign-up" with Christianity. Pretty soon the government will have to free all of the convicted criminals who are in prison so that it can make room for us dangerous Christians.

A Devotion
THOUGHT FOR TODAY: Complain Not
"Do everything without complaining or arguing." Philippians 2:14 (NIV)
My son Christopher was born with a defective heart. His first open-heart surgery took place when he was only four months old and it was followed by two more operations over the next ten years.
At age eleven, Chris's heart and lungs gave out - but his spirit didn't.
While patiently waiting for a heart/lung transplant he was confined to a wheelchair and was on a respirator twenty-four hours a day. People would rudely stare at my son and he would react by simply smiling and saying "Hi". If anyone at anytime ever asked Chris how he was feeling, his response was always "Fine." No one ever heard my son complain - it just wasn't in his nature. I had taken to calling him "Bear" when he was just a toddler because of his tenacious spirit.
After Chris succumbed to his illness before an organ donor could be found, a headstone with these words was placed on his grave: "How ya' doing Bear? Fine."
My son's life was very brief but it left a powerful legacy that lives on in my heart and that of the hundreds of others he met during his short time on earth.
PRAYER: Lord, you've blessed me immensely, in small ways and in great ways. Please help me to be a shining example to others by not complaining about my trivial trials. Amen.

How to destroy a country in a few easy steps....
What's the best way to destroy the United States of America?
It is to let her destroy herself. When a country allows the murder of unborn children to occur by the millions every year; when it begins to allow perverts to marry and to flaunt their sin in front of the nation's children; when every time there is a national crisis people scream "conspiracy!"; and when suddenly it's an evil thing to be a Christian - you can tell that country is quickly heading downhill.
America is quickly eroding into an insignificant power in the world - all because we have strayed so far from the Christian principles in which this country was founded. Don't let those history re writers fool you - this country was founded on Christian beliefs and an awe inspiring reverence for God.
It's ironic - Christianity isn't a threat to the U.S. - it is it's life-preserver!

Worshiping the creation...
I call it worshipping the creation instead of the creator.
Non-believers seem to be consumed with the condition of the earth and its atmosphere. Consumed to the point that not a day goes by that global warming is not mentioned on the radio, on television or in the daily newspapers.
Of course, everyone should be conscientious of their surroundings, we should all be good stewards of what God has given us BUT what is going on now is far beyond that. These people are placing a higher priority on global warming than they are the sanctity of life, on the welfare of their fellow man, on the millions of starving people all over the world. If only a tiny fraction of the concern for global warming was applied toward those other issues - they would probably be solved already.
It's called distraction.
The enemy is the master of distraction. If he can get people to take their eyes off of God, if he can get them to care less about their fellow man - by all means, he will do whatever it takes. I mean would most folks of average intelligence have to think real hard to quickly figure out if the temperature of the earth has risen say two degrees in the past century, that no one should be considering that as a drastic rise? Doesn't it mean something when there are as many scientists and researchers stating that global warming is not really an issue as there those who do? The earth warms and cools in cycles - just like everything else in life.
Terrorism - it's a horrible thing. This thing comes straight from the pit of hell and is in direct opposition to God and therefore Christianity. So today, I find on the Internet a news story where Stephen Hawking, the famous scientist who's followers believe everything he reports, telling the world that global warming is a bigger threat than terrorism! A Sea Story...
I want to tell you a story, a story about a man who was about to launch out in his brand new boat. It was a real nice boat and the man had gotten it for a real good price. Unfortunately, the new sailor had failed to take any safe boating courses or even a read a boating manual before getting underway. You know what is real funny about that? It's the fact that during the transaction process of purchasing the boat and bragging to all of his friends and co-workers about his new "toy", that a number of those individuals offered to teach him boat handling basics. "No way man, I don't need anyone telling me how to do anything - I'm a self-made man and I'll learn as I go."
No matter how much his friends tried to offer their help - only because they were extremely concerned for his safety and wellbeing, the man just would not listen to them. In fact, he started lashing out at them, he resented the fact that his so called "friends" were trying to push "stuff" on him all of the time. The man grew very bitter and eventually lost his relationship with those closest to him.
One day as the man began to get his vessel underway, a stranger standing on the dock began to yell out to him. The stranger was saying something about the man's boat listing slightly - but what did that guy know? As another vessel was approaching the harbor and began passing the man and his listing vessel in the opposite direction, the man at the helm of the other vessel yelled out "You better put on your life-jacket man, it's pretty rough out their in the bay!" Our "hero" totally ignored that warning also. "Everyone just has to be in my business. Why don't those nosey creepy people just leave me alone?"
A few hours later, after navigating far out into the bay, away from all of the other boats, the new boat began to sink quickly. In just a few minutes time, the man found himself thrashing about in the water trying to keep his head above the surface. About fifteen minutes later, a rescue vessel arrived on scene, apparently a concerned boater had called the Coast Guard to give them a "heads up" about the listing vessel as it departed the harbor. "It looks like we made it out here just in time." yelled the eager young Coast Guardsman.
"What do you mean stupid?" replied the man with a scowl as he continued to tread water. "I don't need your help. Get away from me right now!" the man screamed out.
"But sir, if we leave you - you will drown…" replied the confused rescuer.
"Listen young man, I know exactly what I'm doing and I don't need anyone telling me that I don't. Go away right now and leave me alone you pushy, judgmental, self-righteous bum. You're probably just hoping that if I allow you to put me in your boat that I'll give you some money or start following your rules or something, no sir - I'm not that stupid, you just go on now."
"Ok sir, we will do as you say - good luck." replied the Coast Guardsman who quickly turned and whispered to the helmsman to just take the boat away very, very slowly and to not get too far from the drowning man.Treading water got more and more difficult for the man. Every muscle in his body was becoming exhausted and totally depleted of energy. Eventually he was totally unable to move his limbs and he began to quickly sink toward the bottom of the bay. Right before he was about to have his lungs fill with water, the man thought to himself "See, there really is no God - if there was, He would have never let me go out on the water today, or - He would have just reached down and pulled me from the water. And what about warning signs, how come He couldn't bother to warn me about this impending doom? I've been right all along, there is NO God!" Everything went black and the man succumbed to the water.
It was a real good thing that the Coast Guard vessel and crew were still close at hand. Immediately after the man began to sink, one of the crewmembers dove into the water and after reaching the man, pulled him to the surface. His body was quickly loaded onto the rescue craft and the crew immediately began CPR. Luckily for the man, he was revived.
"I thought I told you guys to leave me alone!" yelled the man as water spurted from his mouth and nostrils.
"But sir, you were drowning." replied the youngest Coast Guardsman.
"Well I wasn't and all of you are going to be very sorry for what you have done to me! I'm going to make sure that your life is hell from now one. There is no way I'm going to let you do "this" to anyone else!"
The crew of the vessel moved away from the man and began to prepare their vessel for its return voyage back to shore. They were confused and they were hurt. None of them could figure out why the man reacted so negatively to their earnest attempts to save his life. They had each made sacrifices to serve in the Coast Guard and to save lives, including his - things just didn't make sense to them.

Urban Legends
I've just received yet another forwarded e-mail concerning Dr. James Dobson's efforts to thwart a petition to the FCC to ban all religious broadcasting on television. First of all, there is no such petition. Secondly, Dr. Dobson has no affiliation with the e-mail that is being circulated - someone simply added his name to it to make it look more relevant.
At no time, has the FCC ever been petitioned to ban all religious broadcasting, but because of the hoax, they have received over 30 million letters from concerned Christians over the past 20 years!
Did I say 20 years? Yes. That is how long that particular "Urban Legend" has been in existence. How do I know that for sure you may be wondering? It's because I went to the SNOPES Web site, and then typed "FCC" in the search box - which presented with me all of the details about the legend. If you want a direct link to the article - click here. SNOPES is the best urban legend buster on the Web - in my humble opinion.
Here are a few of my thoughts concerning this situation:
1. I was pleased to read that 30 million Christians made an attempt to stand up for Christianity - that's a very big number. The world system would like us to believe that there are far fewer Christians in America than that.
2. The anti-Christian forces will probably use this as fodder for their campaign to make Christians look like crackpots - seeing that the petition never really existed. They are probably pleased as punch that Dr. Dobson's name is now affiliated with the hoax - he REALLY makes them angry!

Oh, the irony of it all!
I am so amused by the way the world looks at and treats Christianity. The non-believers want everyone else to believe that Christianity is a nearly dead religion, one that is on its last leg and almost ready for burial. They insist that Christianity has no influence on today's world and that it was simply created by a bunch of demented men who made up fables and myths to entice people into joining their cult.
My question is though - if Christianity is so completely insignificant, why do so many people, organizations, and even governments spend such an inordinate amount of time, energy, and finances to prove it it not a threat? Why not just ignore Christianity and let it fade away harmlessly?
It's because they really know the truth, deep down inside.
But you know what, no matter how loud they shout, no matter how many laws they pass, no matter how many bibles they burn, no matter how many Christians they threaten, kill or throw in prison, and no matter how hard they try to remove God from every vestige of civilization - they will never ever stop God's kingdom from spreading.
Isn't it amazing, that for some folks, they would rather spend their entire lifetimes railing against Christians and Christianity, denying that there is a God and a Saviour, and living a life full of hatred and bigotry - than live a life full of God's wondrous blessings?

Propagating a lie...
Here is a perfect example of how the "father of lies" gets members of the human race to do his dirty work. If you recall, in a previous entry, I mentioned that former president Jimmy Carter's new book was so inaccurate of his portrayal of Israel concerning the Israel/Palestine situation, that 14 members of his "think-tank" staff resigned over it. Well, there are some people out there that are very upset that Amazon.com is not "properly" promoting that book! What a bunch of hogwash. A quick thought for today...
Do you realize that satan himself believes in God?
I mean, he used to serve God thousands of years ago. Our eternal enemy also knows the Bible - completely. The world system doesn't want us to believe that the devil even exists. The "father of all lies" has fooled a whole lot of people for a very, very long time.
When I sin, I don't blame the devil though - it's in my nature and I can do plenty of sinning without anyone's help. There has to be a balance when it comes to sin, darkness, and repentenance. IF the enemy was responsible for "making" all of mankind sin, then no one would be personaly responsible for their actions right? On the other hand, if we deny that there is a devil, then we rule out satanic forces at work in the world; influencing people, culture, media, etc.
The enemy is not omnipent like God, he cannot be everywhere all of the time like Father God. The devil and his minions (the fallen angels) cannot even read our minds - only God can do that! That is why the Bible says to guard our lips. It's our words and our actions that give place to the enemy and his horde to begin to entice us to CONTINUE to sin.

1. We step into a sin and continue to wallow in it without repenting and turning away from it.
2. The demons take notice and take it as an invitation to "minister" to us. They tell us that we are doing isn't really all that bad.
3. The longer we stay in that sin, the more demonic influence we recieve, it gets stronger and stronger.
4. Our unwillingness to stop doing the sin, the fact that the lies of the enemy continue to bombard us - makes us end up being controlled by that sin and by the satanic forces.
Sin is a seed in our nature. If we nuture it and feed it, it will grow like a wild weed until it's wrapped itself around our entire soul.
Some folks need a little weed pulling, some need some hedge clippers, and still others need a high-powered weed-whacker!

Speaking of Scientific Studies...
Ever heard of James Randi? For years he was better known as "The Amazing Randi" - a magician and now an avowed enemy of paranormal phenomenon believers everywhere. For over ten years Randi has been offering extremely high financial rewards to anyone, anywhere who can prove under scientific observation that the paranormal activities such as mind reading, speaking to the dead, telekinesis, levitation and such are real.
No one has ever been able to claim on dime from Mr. Randi. Apparently, the demons that assist some of the practitioners of the "dark arts" don't like being around scientists and researchers. Hey, wait a minute - it must be a whole different kind of demon that DOES hang out with scientists and researchers, whispering dark lies into their ears about the origin of man and such.
Randi has now upped the ante to one million dollars - it's called "The Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge". Click on the link, read all about it. If I had a million dollars, I'd create a challenge for someone to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that aliens in flying saucers exist. I don't believe they do - I can already prove it, there is no published, publicly available SCIENTIFIC proof that aliens exist!

Did you know that over the past few decades various scientific studies have reported such things as that there are no heterosexual human-beings - that all of mankind is actually bi-sexual or homosexual?
Are you surprised by such reports? I'm not.
I mean, science also tells us that there is no God, that mankind evolved from monkeys, that there was no "great flood", and someday, mankind - without any help from a higher power will live in absolute peace and harmony.
I thought I'd give you something to laugh about today!

Isn't it remarkable?
Have you noticed lately how when a person commits a heinous crime and then it is discovered that they are a Christian - the hypocritical anti-Christian bigots cry foul! Suddenly, ALL Christians are dangerous and evil. Christianity is declared a harmful belief system that should be dealt with harshly.
But have you also noticed that the same line of thinking is not used toward atheists? What about Muslims, Buddhists, or any other religion? My gosh, that would be profiling people which is this century's very worst crime.
Don't you just love double-standards? Look around you, it's everywhere. If the Gay agenda has their way, they will be able to walk into any public school and tell your child about the wonderful life of a homosexual - yet, your minister will be breaking some kind of law if he tells you that the Bible states that homosexuality is a sin.
Just remember, God doesn't hate the sinner - he just hates the sin. He hates my sin just as much as he hates anyone else's. The "world" finds something very wrong when parents try to teach their children about a God and a Saviour who if followed in most cases, leads to growing up into excellent citizens, givers not takers, a person not prone to violence and decadence, someone who respects the property of others, and an individual not likely to see the inside of a jail cell. "What a travesty!" the world says. "You aren't letting children think for themselves." the world cries out in horror.
And yet those very same people see no problem whatsoever with the obscene, vulgar, and satanic content that is in an awful lot of today's modern music, television, and movies; they allow their children easy access to that garbage. Many of their children idolize convicted criminals turned rap stars who promote violence, the oppression and misuse of women, drug use, crime, and so much more. These days, I can't go a day without observing young children though young adults dressing and acting like those thugs that they are so enamored with.
Why doesn't the "world" cry out about that? Where is the concern for the "brainwashing" that is taking place.

Re-writing History (Part 2)
I mentioned in an earlier post that there are folks intent on rewriting history in such a way as to demean Christianity. I failed to mention though that there are also people who exist that want to rewrite history as it pertains to God's chosen people the Jews. I believe with faith the part of the Bible where God states that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed. I mean, who in their right mind would even dare deny that there was a holocaust, but they do!
Please Mr. ex-president Jimmy Carter, if you don't want to be cursed, you better change your ways.
News broke today that 14 people involved with Mr. Carter's "think tank" have bailed. Why? Because of a book that he just completed that paints a very inaccurate picture of Israel - especially in the past. Click here to read the story at the Fox News Web site.

Fortune Tellers and Telephone Psychics...
Get this, worldwide - people spend billions of dollars on fortune tellers and telephone psychics. These folks want answers about their past, and want direction for their current situation and for the future. They will go to great lengths to hear an encouraging word from a dead ancestor or recently deceased relative.
Now, try to get these very same people to read the Bible, to trust in Jesus, to trust that a man or woman of God could actually allow God to speak to that person through them, well - you've got one serious problem, TOTAL DISBELIEF!
Can you only imagine the impact on the world if the money spent on psychics was sown into the furtherance of God's kingdom? It's almost too big too visualize!
Now, try to get these very same people to read the Bible, to trust in Jesus, to trust that a man or woman of God could actually allow God to speak to that person through them, well - you've got one serious problem, TOTAL DISBELIEF!

The World Has Things Backwards...
Good is Evil.
There is no God.
There is no right and wrong.
The Bible is just a book written by men and it's full of fables and myths.
Mankind is simply a higher form of animal life.
Protecting animals is much more important than caring for your fellow man.
Everyone has freedom of speech except Christians.
Pornography, gambling, and alcohol are all just harmless forms of recreation.
Drugs should be legalized.
The government should feed and support the lazy and irresponsible.
Obscenity and violence laced music is harmless to our children - the "beats" is all they hear don't ya' know?
Movies cannot be truly entertaining unless they contain blasphemy, nudity, violence, and profanity.
Law enforcement is evil.
Temperamental, God mocking, ill-mannered sports and movie heroes are to be worshipped and adored.
It's OK to paint yourself multiple colors while going shirtless in 30 degree weather, and make a total fool of yourself at a sporting event BUT it's not OK to raise your hands, sing loudly, or dance while worshipping God.
People who make sacrifices, live exemplary lives, don't get in trouble with the law, try to bless others every day, and believe in the one true God are sinister and evil.
It's OK to believe in little green men from Mars; in fact it's OK to believe that those little green men impregnated the Earth with humanity; yet it is a horrible thing that people believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of mankind.
Paying tithes, giving offerings, sowing into someones ministry is terribly irresponsible yet it's perfectly fine to waste one's money on lottery tickets and gambling.
If we train our children in the ways of God, it's called brainwashing.
It's impossible to abstain from sex if one isn't married.
People are born gay.
It's wrong to execute a convicted mass-murderer, yet it's perfectly fine to murder millions of unborn children every year.
Disciplining our children as the Bible directs is called "child abuse".
Allowing our children to be exposed to sex, obscenities, and graphic violence - even at a young ages is harmless.

History is being Rewritten...
Slowly but surely, history is being rewritten - watch the coming years closely. Already, children's textbooks have been changed to reflect things like the pilgrims didn't come to the colonies to avoid religious persecution and to be able to worship God freely; no, those truly evil people left England because they couldn't enforce their "myths and fables" upon their fellow citizens. That couldn't be any further from the truth - but you know, the enemy is really really good at manipulating and covering the truth.

They call themselves "tolerant".
I hear the word "tolerance" everyday now. As far as I can tell, non-Christians believe that the word "tolerance" means that EVERYONE - including Christians not only have to allow people (non-Christians) to believe what they want but they ( Christians) must place those people's beliefs on the same level as their very own beliefs - if they don't, then they are intolerant bigots.

Welcome
I've been wanting to create a Christian based Blog for some time now but have been wrestling with the actual content theme. At first, I thought maybe I was being urged on by the Holy Spirit to simply post some of my poetry on the Blog. You know, keep the subject light, offer some cheerful encouragement to the reader, and keep things on a positive level. Apparently though, that is not the direction that I am supposed to take. After a lot of prayer, after hearing from the Lord in many different ways, I've made the decision to use this Blog as a wake-up call for my fellow beleivers.
What am I waking you up to you may be wondering?
Two main issues:
1. The corruption and compromise of the Christian faith.
2. The growing global attack on Christianity.
These subjects are certaintly not "light" and I've got some initial trepedation about even going in that direction but I've got to follow the Lord's leading - I'm compelled to do so. I've had to make the decision that I'm more willing to please God than I am to keep people from being mad at me.
Another thing that I decided about this Blog - it is not open for discussion with non-believers. This Blog will not become a sounding board for those who would eagerly attempt to slam Christianity. Non-beleivers who find themselves so offended by Christianity will have to go somewhere else to spew their venom.
With that said, I hope that you will re-visit this site often and read what I've shared from my heart. You are free to e-mail me at the address posted at the top of the page. Words of encouragement would be nice occasionally.
